Many years ago, Aiman Faisal’s father, a restaurant owner from Goidhoo, had the vision to build a unique haven that would reflect the rich history and allure of Horsburgh Atoll. The man shared his aspirations with his son who joined him in this venture. Together, they embarked on a journey of discovery and growth, building their guest house with a deep desire to provide exceptional service.
In their search for a name that would encapsulate the essence of their guest house and the history of their home, they stumbled upon a legendary tale of a historic shipwreck that met its end on the Island of Goidhoo, “Corbin Shipwreck." The name embraces the history of Horsburgh Atoll, and thus became the perfect inspiration for their brand.
As they built their business, they sought to instill in it the values of their island and its people. They envisioned a place that would offer the comforts of a resort while preserving the charm of a home. With this aspiration, they created an enchanting blend of island life and resort experience to make their guests feel at home while providing a unique and memorable stay.
