Among the standout sites, Dhorukandu Thila stands as a gateway to the atoll, offering encounters with larger marine life such as Napoleons, yellow snappers, trevallies, and eagle rays, while also providing glimpses of grey reef sharks and hammerhead sharks. Viha Badhi, known as the 'poison plateau,' is a sanctuary for live hard corals, hosting enormous mushroom corals believed to have thrived for over 500 years, with sightings of mantas, hawksbill turtles, and Napoleons. Miskih Magu Badhi, the 'mosque road plateau,' features a stunning coral garden adorned with vibrant live hard corals, attracting mantas, eagle rays, red snappers, and various wrasse species. Hanifaru Dhuni, meaning 'narrow and long reef,' boasts three adjacent coral plateaus teeming with green turtles, eagle rays, and a diverse collection of vibrant fish species.
